POLYETHYLENE (PE) FOAM

  • Available in 1.2 lb. and 2.2 lb. density foam.
  • 1.2 is a low-density PE foam suited for protecting lighter weight items.
  • 2.2 polyethylene foam is a medium-density with excellent shock absorbing, vibration dampening and cushioning properties.
  • PE Foam is firmer than polyurethane and not as rigid as polystyrene.
  • Ideally suited for additional cushioning in a box.
  • Simple to cut and shape with common tools. See our hot knife tool
  • PE Foam can be cut to any shape.
  • Polyethylene Foam can be reused.
  • Clean, odorless, non-dusting to skin.
  • Chemically inert and resistant to oils, solvents, dilute acids.
  • Custom shapes and sizes available.
